Mary joined the Kathy’s Music Kindermusik team in the Fall of 2014, after attending classes with her daughters, Cadence and Laurel, for several years. She was delighted to have this chance to share the joy of musical exploration as well as the many unique parenting tools Kindermusik has to offer. Music has always been an important part of Mary’s life; She sang with the Heinz Chapel Choir and the Pitt Pendulums for all four years of attending the University of Pittsburgh for a B.S. in Psychology, she sang in semi-professional acapella groups outside of school (Funkshun, Evolushun), and she continues to take every opportunity to arrange and make music with friends and family.
Mary earned a Masters of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. She conducts freelance training in the areas of active listening, compassionate communication, and crisis intervention.
