In my last post, I talked about the benefits of Kindermusik and how using the ideas from class can help make parenting easier. One of the areas I touched on is the socialization that kids get during a Kindermusik class. I have heard a bunch of moms talking about their young children needing socialization recently. Many are putting the kids into preschool earlier and earlier. I have been asked many times if I am getting the twins into preschool now. Many schools do take 2 year olds these days, but this mamma isn’t ready for that yet. The twins socialize with each other but it is still different from being with “peers.” I find it fascinating to watch how they interact with other children. This is the beauty of parent/child classes. The kids are still getting the social interaction but you get to see HOW they interact. It lets you see different sides to their little personalities than you do at home. The great thing is that the parents get to socialize with other parents too. Its a win all around!
