It’s time to Celebrate!
Our Kindermusik Level 4 students reached a significant milestone in class. After 14 weeks of class, they mastered the skills necessary to receive their Kindermusik Glockenspiels and it was no small feat!
Each student earned every bar on this pre-keyboard instrument as they practiced rhythm reading, learned how to make a musical staff, practiced reading and composing four note melodies, and much more. Kindermusik Level 4 is the first of a two year program that lays a solid foundation for instrument lessons or music making in schools.
When Kindermusik students receive their glockenspiels, they also join our Kindermusik Orchestra. This classroom orchestra will be working on a variety of songs and ensembles while learning new notes on the staff and new musical terms. This spring they will joyfully share their repertoire of songs as part of our Kindermusik Spring Recital on May 17th.
We created a special video to capture the smiles, delight, confidence, and sense of accomplishment. We love each and every one of these students and count it a privilege to teach them each week in class. We are changing the world through music, one child at a time.
