. Students are invited to dress up and make this feel like a special occasion. This recital lasts approximately an hour and features performances from our Group Lesson classes. How long does the recital last? The goal is for each recital to last approximately an hour. Where is the recital? Our Group Lesson recitals take place at Wrights United Methodist, located at 788 Venetia Rd. What do students wear? We invite students dress in nice clothes appropriate to the occasion avoiding jeans and sneakers when possible. Recitals are celebrations so feel free to dress up! When do I need to arrive? Please arrive 15 minutes before your recital. Please wait until the doors are open to enter the recital room. Who can attend? There are no capacity limits for this event. What do I need to bring? Bring your instrument in its case, along with your recital music if the selection(s) is not memorized. You do not need to bring your music bags or music stands. How will I know when to perform? Our teachers will introduce each class before the performance and invite them to come to the front. There will be recital programs showing the order and recital selections for each class. PERFORMERS AUDIENCE To the performers: Remember that the audience is there for your support! They are all there cheering you on and wishing you the best. So, take a deep breath, relax and enjoy playing the pieces you have worked so hard on to learn! To the audience: Please be the best support group possible for these students! They greatly appreciate your enthusiastic clapping and attentive listening. Show them that you care and that you are proud of their work! Performing is a wonderful opportunity for people to share their music making with others. Sometimes the experience of performing can seem nerve-wracking or even stressful though.
