Annie received a Bachelor’s of Music in Violin Performance and a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from the University of Kansas in 2018 and 2019, respectively. In 2021, she received her Master’s of Music in Violin Performance from Carnegie Mellon University.
Annie began playing violin when she was three years old. During high school she auditioned for and performed in the American String Teachers Association National Honor Orchestra and was awarded first place in the Shooting Stars Scholarship Competition. She also won first place at the MTNA Kansas Young Artist Strings Competition and an honorable mention at the MTNA West Central Division Competition during her undergraduate work.
Annie has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in festivals throughout the US and abroad, including Orford Musique Academy in Quebec, Valhalla Summer School of Music in British Columbia, Borromeo Music Festival in Altdorf, Switzerland, Heartland String Quartet Program in Kansas City, and the Innsbrook Institute in St. Louis. She has also held a concertmaster position in the University of Kansas Symphony Orchestra and performed in the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic Orchestra, Brevard Music Festival in North Carolina, and Roundtop Summer Music Festival in Texas.
Annie is a former member of the Carina Trio, a clarinet, violin, and piano trio. During the summer of 2022, she spent extensive time rehearsing and performing at the Lucerne Festival in Switzerland.

When not making music, Annie loves cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her two ginger cats named Zim and Gir.
