Jackie began studying music performance, theory and composition under private tutors at 5 years old. Both of her parents were musicians and singers, which helped to foster a deep appreciation for music in her and her 5 brothers growing up. She began teaching music lessons as well as playing and singing in church as a teenager.
Jackie graduated in 2002 from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia with a Bachelor’s in World Religion.
Jackie has worked as a professional gigging musician, worship leader/director for various churches, private lesson studio instructor and classroom music teacher in the private school setting. She relocated to Pittsburgh in 2022. Jackie teaches private and group piano to all ages, as well as Kindermusik at Kathy’s Music. She enjoys coffee, exploring the Pittsburgh area and hiking with her son.
