Meet Jane Grover

Jane Grover was born in Vermont and discovered her passion for the saxophone at the age of ten. By the time she reached high school, she was recognized as one of the top saxophonists in New England. Soon after, Ms. Grover left Vermont to study with Dr. Paul Cohen at the Manhattan School of Music. As a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory she holds a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance and a Minor in Musicology. She has experience in the performance of solo, chamber, and ensemble music. Ms. Grover also has as an extensive background in music education, having taught music in public and private schools, community forums, and in her private studio. She has a special gift for working with children and adolescents, helping to bring out their own natural musicality and encouraging their self-expression by tailoring lessons to the individual needs of each student, regardless of age, skill or experience level.
