Meet Jillian McCord

Jillian received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with an emphasis in Vocal Performance from Whitworth University in 2011. Several years later, she attended Eastern Washington University where she studied Vocal Pedagogy and Performance, receiving her Master of Music Degree in 2018.

Jillian  has been singing in vocal ensembles since elementary school, beginning private vocal instruction as a freshman in high school. During high school she performed in musicals with the Academy of Children’s Theater, with roles in Honk!, Beauty and the Beast, and High School Musical.

At Eastern Washington University,  Jillian enjoyed singing the role of Despina in a production of Mozart’s opera “Cosi fan tutte” and performing onstage with the Spokane Symphony on multiple occasions as part of the school’s Symphonic Choir.  She has traveled to Argentina with the Whitworth Choir, and to Estonia with the Eastern Washington University Symphonic Choir and treasures the trips as exciting, enriching experiences of cultural and musical exchange.

Jillian also enjoys gardening and feels that there’s nothing quite like eating homegrown fruits and veggies. She hopes to one day have a glorious garden that also attracts birds, bees, and butterflies.
