Morgan Klauscher is no stranger to the world of music education, but she’s new to Pittsburgh! Morgan began studying music in grade school: piano in 3rd grade and flute in 5th. She is from Chillicothe, Ohio and joined marching band, concert band, wind ensemble, chamber ensembles, and musicals both in the pit and on stage during her high school career. Since then, Morgan has earned degrees in Music Education (BM) from Marietta College and Flute Performance (MM) from Youngstown State University. Morgan was a part of many ensembles during her studies including Flute Ensemble, Chamber Ensemble, Woodwind Quartet, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Saxophone Quartet, Treble Choir. Morgan has been a flute clinician at several high schools in her hometown and has performed in masterclasses for Lorna McGhee (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra), Lisa Jelle (Capital University), Wendell Dobbs (Marshall University), and Anna Reitsma (DMA Candidate, West Virginia University). Additionally, Morgan has taught at over 20 band camps since 2014!
