Families are using creativity to celebrate each milestone this year especially online events – such as a graduation, a promotion, a performance, or even a goal achieved. To fuel your own creativity, we’ve created a list of some of our favorite ideas to create a “party-like” atmosphere for online or recorded performances.
- Set a special time for viewing the recording and invite family and friends to do the same.
- Watch the videos via zoom and share the link so that everyone is connected and able to comment/congratulate via the zoom chat.
- Prepare a special dessert or favorite meal as part of the celebration.
- Create decorations for the viewing area.
- Take a moment to announce each new group performance and then applaud after each segment as if we were all together in a large space.
- Take it outdoors and setup a viewing space in the backyard or driveway or garage (with the door open). The addition of a big screen using a white sheet or tablecloth is an added bonus.
