Our Kindermusik Level 4 and 5 students will be participating in a special Graduation Ceremony and Spring Recital on Sunday, May 19th at 3:30 PM at The Bible Chapel in McMurray.
Five things of NOTE:
1) Report time for Students:
Please have your Kindermusik student there no later than 2:30 PM.
Your Kindermusik Young Child teacher will greet the students in the lobby at 2:30 PM and escort them into the Worship Center. Then doors will open for the parents at 3:15 PM.
2) We will be collecting your child’s recorder (Year 2 Grads) and Glockenspiels (Year 1 Students) at the end of their class this week so that we can setup before the concert.
3) Please see the program so you can help set your child’s expectation and about what will happen and when. We want them to feel very confident and comfortable!
4) What to wear – Our Kindermusik kids have a special outfit to wear so that they will feel and look special.
Kindermusik Grads: Graduation Gown and Cap (with bobby pins) over your Purple Kindermusik T-shirt (or any dark shirt will work). Avoid flip flops.
Kindermusik Young Child Year 1: Purple We Love Kindermusik T-shirts with jeans, pants, or skirts. Avoid flip flops.
5) Grad parents – There will be an opportunity for you to take a picture of your student when they receive their Graduation trophy. We will invite you to come forward at the time so you can take a picture of your son or daughter with your child’s teacher.
All are welcome to attend as we celebrate our Level 4 children learning the glockenspiel. They will share several songs on glockenspiel as well as a 3 part ensemble called “Sing and Celebrate!”
Our Level 5 students will be graduating from Kindermusik. Many of these students started with our program as babies and toddlers and are now graduating into our Music Artistry Program. This is their chance to shine on the recorder as they perform several songs as a large group. In addition, each student is invited to perform in a small ensemble on recorder, dulcimer, or glockenspiel.
