At Kathy’s Music, we are focused on providing music education that is processed based and age-appropriate. With that in mind, we set aside time in January, February, and March to focus on the Musical Milestones that matter for each student in our program, from Kindermusik to Group Lessons to Private Lessons. You’ll see student engagement go up as we nurture learning to develop a love of music that lasts a lifetime. Families will celebrate how music sparks the brain and the joy it brings as each new milestone is reached. Students are invited to learn a set of songs on their unique instrument – Resonator Bars, Piano, Glockenspiel, or Recorder – with “confidence-building” support and celebration along the way. Group Lesson students will work together as a team to meet a set of milestones that best fits their class. Teachers will coach Private Lesson students to choose a milestone that best fits their interests and level and that can be achieved over 8 weeks.
