The dream to play the guitar often starts early and persists through the years. It’s easy to take it with you and finding chords to your favorite pop song is easier than ever before. Lessons are personalized to include music that the student requests (and often times our teachers are writing arrangements based on skill level to make this possible). Most young students start out with Ukulele lessons until their hands and body grow into a guitar. Ukuleles are not only popular but portable to every camp ground, road trip, and family gathering with a full-sized instrument that lasts a lifetime.
Performance opportunities are important to keep these students – children and adults – looking forward and building confidence. Variety is the spice whether it’s a Fall Recital, Winter Coffeehouse, or Spring Music Festival.
We offer Music Artistry lessons as young as 6 years through adults with 30, 45, or 60 minute weekly lessons. We recommend students start ukulele after the age of 6 years and guitar at 8 years after completing Kindermusik for the Young Child.
