One of the things that makes our school so special is that our teachers are also performers! During this holiday season, you’ll find them performing around Pittsburgh and the Western PA region in a variety of venues and concerts.

 

While we did not include every performance, here are just a few concerts to put on your list:

December 1st 7:30 PM – Sarah Steranka is performing on flute with Kamratōn featuring world premiere by Brian Riordan thumb_0000_SarahSteranka_backupphoto

December 2nd – Duquesne’s Flute Choir is playing before the Nutcracker and during the intermission this Saturday at 7 pm at the Benedum. Tickets can purchased at pbt.org. This flute choir is directed by our own Josie Kost.

December 4th – Helen Andrascik will be performing Bach Cantata #10 at St. Paul Episcopal Church 10:45 service.

December 6th – Helen Andrascik will be performing as part of Symphony on Ice, Wheeling Symphony Orchestra at 7 PM.

December 14th – Jenifer Weber will be performing with Undercroft Opera at the Phipps Conservatory from 8-9 PM as part of the Winter Flower Show and Candlelight Evenings.

December 22nd – Alaina Tetrick, one of our voice teachers, is leading a a “Multicultual After School Choir” at Avonworth Elementary School. The group will perform two pieces: Obwisana (Ghanaian rock passing game) and African Noel (from Liberia)
