Wondering what it means to be a collaborator?
Learn more about what it means to be a Collaborative Pianist and the training and value that brings to our students with THIS article.
How will I know if I my son or daughter needs this service for recital?
Teachers will talk with parents about the need for a pianist to work with their student as part of the recital sign up process. Once the recital piece is finalized, then the teacher will know for sure what is needed to support the student’s recital performance.
What is the cost?
If your student needs a piano accompaniment for a recital, then we are happy to schedule Abby to rehearse with your student and perform at the recital. The fee for these collaboration services is $20 and will be run in the two weeks before recital.
When is the rehearsal?
The rehearsal schedule with Abby will be created within 3 days after the recital information is due. The schedule will be announced to parents and typically happens the week of recital so that it is close to the actual performance. The schedule will be emailed to parents and teachers two weeks before the recital date.
Abby’s natural ability to connect easily with students, as well as provide musical coaching and support, will help these students shine during their recital performance.
